That was so sweet I'm giving extra books! Good job Daddy & Griffin!!! SURE you can do it. Jordan dances!
Wanted to say thank you for what you are doing. Some of my fondest memories are of being read to as a child by my dad. Boy, did he get sick of "Molly's Secret". :) Reading, literature, and writing have forever been part of my DNA, because of that. But, it's only recently that I've come to understand the true magic of books. As the mom of two autistic spectrum sons (2 and 4), I marvel at the power of books to unlock the minds and hearts of my special little people. Reading to my boys has become a key part of bringing out their wonderful little souls out and getting them engaged with the world. They light up and blossom when I read to them, and that gives me such hope. Reading can (and in the case of my sons, is!) literally work miracles, and I'm so glad that you're giving back in this beautiful, special way. Special Needs or not, every kid deserves the chance to cuddle up on a comfy lap and be read to! Thank you for helping to make that happen!
