See all Show me
This is a music video for the band Ribozyme from the west coast of Norway. For me, it is also another exploration of the tilt shift look. I wanted to see how much closer I could get to people and also try and get real people to appear as if they were animated.

Ribozymes new album March of Crime is available now on CD, vinyl, and download.

Artists: Ribozyme
Song: One Day Worth
Album: March of Crime

Director/camera/editor: Paul Johannessen
Camera: Catalina Lopez

Shot in Bergen on the west coast of Norway, in june 2009. Recorded on a Panasonic HVX200 - in full HD using interval frame rate function. Edited and graded in final cut with some third party plugins.

Very nice, and I like your edit too. I found the tilt shift working best when you used the crane.

agree - the higher and further back the better - something to remember for next time. I am finding that alot of the standard rules of composing a shot don“t apply to this look.
