Over the course of three days (Dec. 4-6), our client Lytro, invited people to get creative and submit funny, dramatic or just plain weird photos via Twitter to be “Lytro-ized” for the holidays – first professionally transformed into claymation scenes and then captured in the light field as living pictures.
For three days straight, the Lytro-izer took nominations to see who should be Lytro-ized next. All people had to do was submit a photo of themselves or their favorite moments to @Lytro via Twitter using the hashtag #LytroMe. If chosen, The Lytro-izer did its magic, then tweeted back to submitters and shared their new Lytro-ized photos for all to see on this Tumblog: lytro.me.
The Lytro-izer was a collaboration between Lytro, Manifold and Screen Novelties, the award-winning stop-motion animation team best known for animating MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch, It’s a SpongeBob Christmas holiday special, and Robot Chicken.
