Release notes:
In the theory of general relativity, an event horizon is a boundary in space-time beyond which events cannot affect an outside observer, most commonly found surrounding a black hole. In other words, across the Event Horizon, even light cannot escape the black hole.

With this track, Fundamental Harmonics explores those boundaries around which the properties of the universe seem to bend. The composition extends time and stretches its perception by working an echoed and hypnotic dub techno loop, eerie atmospheric synthesizing, repetitive voice samples and distant choirs, still with a powerful low-spectrum energy beyond.

This is accompanied by a refreshing, bright, slower and magnetic version from fellow Bangkokian Sunju Hargun, aka Moodwax. Sunju has collaborated with Microzoo, Daypak and his track “Down With You” was played by Martin Eyerer in his Kling-Klong podcast.

The music video is directed by Jung-Chul Hur, a Korean visual artist who has had art-house video works shown in various festivals around the world.

Fundamental Harmonics previous 2 releases on Lepton Quark reached the top 10 sales on Whatpeopleplay.com. His track, “Network Inhibition”, was played by Laurent Garnier in ” It is what it is” radio show, and he played it again during his marathon set at the Rex Club for his 25 years career anniversary.

Enjoy,
Baptiste
