America, a Sony Pictures TV movie tells the story of a bi-racial boy named America with a painful history of family instability and sexual abuse. He is placed in a treatment center where Dr. Brennan (played by Rosie O’Donnell) helps him open up about his painful past and discover the support and courage he needs to get his life back on track. America was directed by Yves Simoneau and shot exclusively in Detroit, Michigan, USA.

Composer Normand Corbeil (who recently also recorded Master Key with LMO) LINK recently spent a day in Abbey Road studio 1 with LMO and engineer Jonathan Allen conducting his score for America. Normand used a 18 piece string section (6 first violins, 4 seconds, 3 violas, 3 celli and 2 double basses) and flute, clarinet and horn. LMO was led by Tom Bowes and vocalist Josephine Mamankwah also recorded further cues after the orchestra had finished.
