I was asked by a friend of mine if i'd be interested in filming a video, for he and his brother's band. Straight away i loved the idea, knowing the talent that both of them have.

After discussion we realised that recording the sound was going to be the biggest issue with the project. Luckily i have two friends who know a lot about audio recording, and one who does it as his full-time profession. So after putting the idea to them, they both wanted to be involved in this.

The next hurdle was working out and getting hold of some lighting, i researched into what lights to use and ended up making a DIY softbox out of some plywood, an old dust sheet and a Halogen site light on a tripod (two hours before the shoot)... I also borrowed a tall flexible lamp from my parents lounge!

We recorded the video in a Church on wednesday night. Joe then took the recording home and mixed the track ready to send me the next day. I edited the video together in my spare time over the following couple of days and we had group viewing on the Sunday. It all came together really well in the end and working with everyone was made very easy by the professionalism and understanding of what was to be achieved...

Full credit to the band members Adam and Lawrence for being so well rehearsed, musically tight and making the recording process so quick and easy.
