Some test clips shot with Lumix GH1 and Canon FD 50mm F1.8, 28mm F2.8 mounted with Ciecio7 adapter, and kit lens G Vario 14-140mm F4.
1280/720 50p.
Movie mode all at -2 except noise reduction.
Little color correction.
Sorry, no music but some cat & nature shots ;)

    I have a bunch of FD lenses sitting in the closet waiting for the GH1... if it ever shows up in the States :(

    It's a shame for the states, for you the GH1 should have been like a Square Enix game: out in Japan in May, out in states in June and out 1 year after in Europe...

    Do you have wider FD than 28mm in your closet?

    Les travellings sont réalisés avec une dolly "faite à la maison", chariot avec 4x2 roues de roller posé sur des tubes en PVC emboitables :)

    What were the f numbers on the lens? was the 50mm f1.8?f1.4? etc.... Was it all filmed with them wide open?

    Personally, I think this is some of the best gh1 footage i've seen on here. I like the very shallow depth of field. This looks very filmic, some of the other test clips i've seen on here just look like they were filmed with ordinary video cameras. Good work!

    The FD were 50mm F1.8 and 28mm F2.8, G Vario F4 and yes, it was shot wide open intentionally with high shutter speed just to have a shallow depth of field which I love

    Did you use some little blur for entire scene to achieve a filmic look? Your footage just don't have any really focused areas as other GH1 videos have. What is your secret? :)
