Sometimes we spend days in the forest, falling asleep after a hard days gathering trip, with sore hands and feet from planting and gathering. Other days we can't. So we spend time with forest experts we identify and people. These are individuals who can help decode the meaning of important forest areas using their own terms for soils, microclimate, and fruiting areas. These are our teachers.
