Rachel Fleischman is a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Pennsylvania and a body-centered expressive arts counselor. She received her master's degree in clinical social work from Bryn Mawr College and earned her bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in women studies and theater from Temple University.

Fleischman is also a graduate of the internationally renowned expressive arts therapy training at the Tamalpa Institute. This work was originated in the 1950s by Anna Halprin, who is among the first pioneers to use dance as a healing art. In the 1970s, Daria Halprin further developed the artistic and therapeutic aspects of this work.

Fleischman has also trained with Group Motion, a 40 year-old workshop laboratory led by Manfred Fischbeck. This profound system combines improvisation, movement meditations, and contact improvisation with explorations of breath flow, sound, and movement qualities.

Founder and facilitator of Dancing Your Bliss, a healing and transformative movement workshop, Fleischman is an international workshop leader and a core faculty member at Omega. She has been teaching dance and fitness since 1996.
