Bikes for the World is a documentary style short web video produced for Salsa Labs. It accompanied a web and print case study about how Washington, D.C. based nonprofit, Bikes for the World, is using innovative ways to connect with volunteers and donors who are key to their grassroots effort to provide affordable bicycles in developing countries for transportation to work, school, and health services. The video was marketed on the organization’s YouTube page and was promoted on their website, Twitter and Facebook. Bikes for the World also promoted the video to their volunteers through their email newsletter and social media sites.
