Marco - The story came from a lot of different things we'd been thinking about. Of course there are some cinematic influences but many of those are more related to style then story. I'd say the single biggest factor in coming up with the story was peoples present relationships to (and thru) technology. As we thought about everything from text messaging, internet dating, social networks and MMOs we starting thinking about where it might all go and humanoids were one outlet in which we could express a changing point in the way in which humans relate to tech.

I mount a home cinema in my home, just to see all episodies with my friends in a 9 foot (3mts) screen with dolby and surround. Just a word: "Fantastic" !!!... Thanks.

So, I can't get over the audio. It certainly has gotten better on the capture, but you need to capture ambient sound to lay into the environments better. Hiss is present and as it drops in and out (during the mom scene as they walk into the living space from the door), you can tell that's because of the editing and the inconsistency in the tools being used and the tracks being captured.

I was hoping the scene from 7:30-8:50 or so would be good. However I was disappointed, the main char. shots are framed well and with good lighting, however, it is painfully clear that somehow the audio is out of sync with the 'moder' and out of sync is pretty bad even for a webisode. I bet there was some issue with the first take, and he wasn't able to go back and re-shoot. But really he should have to keep the quality up. Don't compromise, think of a way to do it differently if you can't do what you originally planned.

The acting has gotten better, and some of the filming is still good, but I wish he could keep his lighting good and add the to the ambiance audio. I think it would improve the story rather than act as a trigger for ripping me out of the plot and the performance. Also, I wish we could have seen some edgier plot with the moder, this character could be really dark and interesting, could meet in interesting surroundings to enforce his persona. Under a bridge at dusk with full sunlight was just poor location selection. However the script was very good.

ps. This critique is only to make what SHOULD BE the best HV20 show on the net, THE BEST HV20 SHOW ON THE NET.

Very cool as always, and though there is room for improvement, I'd definitely say that when I try to talk about the future of the media industry, and how it will revolve around non-industry types of efforts, this is exactly what I'm describing. Nice work.

Only suggestion is, audio is still rough. You need to capture some ambient/nat sound still. Also, the music just doesn't...feel right. You might want to try hooking up with these guys:

Stellar! The acting in this Ep. is so solid! And the rest just keeps getting better and better! Nicely done!

I loved it... agree on others stating a need of ambient sound. and maybe a little more work on lights? just my $.02.
