Ever since Aria was erected as the crown jewel of City Center in Las Vegas, we've been partying with them on New Years Eve. And when I say "partying", I mean "feverishly trying to capture every last detail of these massive achievements in technical, logistical, and synesthetic wonder".
New Years Eve at Aria is a site to behold. They call these parties "Casino Marketing Events". Their intention is to bring in high rollers from all over the world and treat them to a smorgasbord of color, music, good food, and great vibes. How they manage to one-up themselves every year is beyond me. This year, they took to the skies an literally flew performers through the air (not to mention a piano or two).
It was an incredible night, and we were more than thrilled to be apart of it. We reigned in the New Year by collapsing into our beds with dreams of aerialists, veer columns, LED panels, moving truss, dancers, pyrotechnics, spinning lights, lots of sweat, and plenty of smiles.
