This film is an out of order distillation of 77,298 kilometres worth of meandering over the surface of the earth. The sequences of images were assembled, then mashed together live and projected on the inner surface of the observation deck of a diminutive tower some 1228 metres above the surface of the sea, which lies some hundreds of kilometres away from the prairie city from which the tower seems, somewhat surprisingly, to have sprouted.

This film was performed live, for an audience on their own meandering journey through the tower as part of the site-specific-spectacular called Needle In The Sky, a collection of in-situ performances assembled by Swallow-A-Bicycle Theatre as part of the 2012 High Performance Rodeo. My thanks to S-A-B for the opportunity to develop this piece and perform it from such an interesting vantage point.

Many thanks also to those whose paths I crossed in my sojourn, without your friendship this would not have been possible.
