This is a time lapse movie made overnight on December 12-13, 2012 near Embudo, New Mexico. The peak of the Geminid meteor shower is still to come tonight, so if you're reading this on December 13th, go outside and look up to enjoy a beautiful show!

Of course, some of the flashes of light are planes and satellites. Only the fastest flashes are actually meteors, and there were a lot!
