A friend sent me a Gauguin post card with a portion of his 1897-98 painting on sackcloth -- "Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?" Gauguin loved yellow, and used it brilliantly along with bright blues. I used iPhoto on the computer and took a lot of pictures of myself, then altered each one in Photoshop CS3 emphasizing yellow and blue, then put them into a video. All in about 5 hours...which is fun, because then you can go make more. This is a non-standard frame rate of 12 FPS. I hope it works for you. It still has no soundtrack. To read more about Gauguin's painting, there's an excellent article("Gauguin’s Last Testament") in Vanity Fair by John Richardson, vanityfair.com/culture/features/2004/02/gauguin200402
