On May 14, 2007, close to four hundred Albemarle County Democrats attended a caucus to nominate candidates for six races, including three seats on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors. Ann Mallek (White Hall District) and Marcia Joseph (Rivanna District) were unopposed for their party's nomination. This video includes their acceptance speeches. In addition, Supervisor Lindsay Dorrier won his party's nomination for a third consecutive term. If elected in November, it will be his fourth term overall representing the County's Scottsville District. The audio of his speech to the Scottsville caucus is available on Charlottesville Tomorrow's blog. See: cvilletomorrow.typepad.com
