Catch Up Later
As social networks and real-life introductions converge, the gap between the two becomes ever more apparent. At best, we're constrained to business cards, which hold only a tiny amount of information. At worst, after a face-to-face introduction we're left struggling to remember a Facebook URL or Twitter username for later. We need a better way to quickly and easily share all this information digitally at events like conferences, business meetings, and parties, so that the face-to-face relationship you just established can then be further developed online. With the ubiquity of smart phones and .always-on. internet connectivity this can be achieved with the advent of a client frontend, a user identifier in the form of a graphic on a conference nametag or business card, and a backend database with everything the user cares to share. A simple click can follow the user on Twitter, friend them on Facebook, or just add them to an address book to allow the two people the opportunity to continue the conversation later, in a time and manner that's most convenient to them.
