In this little video I present you the first house I ever designed as an architecture student. As it is a rowhouse in the middle of the city (facing a square with a little playground), my concept for this house was to reflect the dynamics of citylife onto the daily routine of a family. Unlike most rowhouses in the city, it is designed as a big open space in which circulation is a dominating visual element. The chaos of that circulation is at the same time set at ease by the simple and open rooms, each of them having different nuances and another way of dealing with privacy. With all these elements I wanted to create a playful way of living, in harmony with the life that is just outside the front door.
