Rocky Mountain Institute is a pioneer in the field of sustainability consulting. For over a quarter century they have championed the efficient and restorative use of natural resources through high-profile consulting engagements and numerous publications. After 25 years of thought leadership, RMI recognized that competition was rapidly intensifying and engaged a team from the Institute of Design to develop strategic solutions to help RMI remain a leader in the nascent field of sustainability consulting. The project demonstrated: understanding stakeholder perspectives; reframing the issue; analyzing vast research and information; systematizing strategic solutions.
Hosted in partnership with the IIT Institute of Design, the 2009 Innovation Summit brought together influential innovation experts, business executives, academics and government leaders to discuss innovation and accelerate Chicagoland's development as a globally recognized center for innovation. The summit was a collaboration between the Illinois Institute of Technology Institute of Design and InnovateNow, the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Foundation's innovation initiative.
