Mr Copacabana and myself acquired entry to the Parc des Princes stadium, Paris-west, to see the Ligue 1 game Paris Saint-Germain vs Evian. In the past, when visiting a football match, we always bought the cheapest tickets available and sat in the ghetto section between animals and junkies. This time we sat next to Strauss-Kahn and Sarkozy in the Presidentielle Francis Borelli rouge section. Yes indeed. Some premium seats that better matches our premium lifestylo. We went to this AC Milan refugee camp because we miss Thiago Silva, Carletto, Zlatan and Leonardo.
We left Rotterdam at 1900 hours. We drove south and stayed in a hotel in Venette some 80km north of Paris. There is no better way to start your Paris weekend eating beef jerky, sipping banana cognacs and talking trash with some authentic hatin'.
The next day we got up at 1000am, Willemstad style, and drove south to Paris. We booked a hotel next to the Arc de Triomphe and parked the testarossa underground. Before going to the stadium we checked out the activity around the Champs-Elysees with great showrooms of Renault, Peugeot, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota. We were also on the hunt for some PSG merchandise in the PSG- and Nike boutiques. We went to the stadium and saw PSG win 4-0 with one goal from Zlatan. Thiago Silva was flawless! We went back to the hotel to sip some more banana cognacs and then packed our camera gear to do a photo session of the Eiffel. At the time we got there, 2310 Paramaribo time, the Eiffel was closed and all the Seine cruises were finished too. That didn't bother us because we walked up to Trocadero and shot a million frames of the Eiffel, cursed at everybody that walked in front of our camera's, were hatin' everyone that also brought advanced camera's and stayed until they turned off all the lights.
On Sunday we went to the roof of the Arc de Triomphe, then the Notre Dame, Louvre and through the gardens to the Place de la Concorde. Before going to the garage we picked up some PSG merchandise in the Nike boutique, started the testarossa and drove back to Rotterdam.
Rollin' with the ODAWG is always great fun. Without doubt one of the best weekends of 2012!
