The Beer Summit is a giant craft beer sampling event in Boston. It is held annually every Marathon weekend at the Park Plaza Castle in the Back Bay. This was the 10th anniversary of the event.

This year the show attracted 65 of the world's best breweries with over 250 different beers to taste including many from here in Massachusetts including Mayflower, Harpoon, Opa Opa, Cisco, Haverhill and Samuel Adams.

We attended the Saturday afternoon session of the event along with over 1200 other people - it was an amazing time with people from all over New England enjoying creative and uniquely brewed ales, lagers, porters and stouts.

A few favorites...the Paper City Mother's Milk Stout from Holyoke, MA; Long Trail Double Bag from Bridgewaters Corners, VT; and Haverhill Pentucket Porter from Haverhill, MA.

Delicious craft beer, fun people and great music. What more can you ask for?
