This is the first trailer for my short film 'DiD'!

It centres on a young man who is suffering from DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder - like Multiple personality disorder) and is attempting to climb a mountain to throw his dead mother's ashes off the top! His other personalities have other ideas though!

The short itself is being entered in to film festivals as i type :)

It was shot on super 35mm and then all the post production was done digitally in a tapeless workflow. I graded on a baselight system and did the effects in smoke and after effects. The film was shot on Mount snowdon over a cold and wet week in november 2008.

Any comments are very welcome, this is a great place to learn!

many thanks :)

Hey Sean! Thanks for the post! I think doing trailers is an art form in itself! One bit of advice i would give is to let someone else do it. I was too close to create something different. I really suggest that and i'm an editor too! Would love to see your film if you have a link :)
