I can only hope so. The spec of the Scarlet is a dream that all of us are waiting for to become a reality. Personaly, after seeing what they did with the Red one, the Scarlet or Epic will happen. If you subscribe to the Red forum then you might think differently as it's a love fest without the right drugs!

Every make will continue now what RED has started. The BIG makes will keep on doing research and I don´t think RED has much chance now... They defied the big ones so now they will have to deal with it... I am a huge fan of RED and their concept but they shouldn´t have announced scarlet in such a earlier stage... They made others with more development and production power to become afraid and decided to play the game... I am pretty sure that if RED launches Scarlet Canon and Pansasonic and even Sony will beat them... Till then I will enjoy the reality... EOS 5D and GH1

Concept is genious too and well perplexing if I really let my mind into it...capturing the creation of a beautiful creation, by a beautiful creature and then interpreted, mixed down and mastered out by a creator of beauty.
