During my studies at the University of Cincinnati's School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning I developed an abstract toy to teach children the basics of color, form and spatial relationships. As I continued my studies I used this toy as a case study for an advertising class and a motion graphics class.
I chose to develop a commercial that was more ambient — this route was influenced by the toy's abstract nature as well as its role as an educational tool. The projected markets for the toy and commercial would be museum gift shops, design boutiques and public television.
