Tom Aageson & the Global Center for Cultural Entrepreneurship

Tom Aageson, a tireless benefactor, has a passion for helping talented people and alleviating poverty. A veteran himself, he decided to contact fellow vets in New Mexico to start a coalition to help get homeless vets off the street. The coalition, based in Santa Fe, raises money to help homeless shelters throughout New Mexico. But Tom does much more than this. As the Executive Director of the Global Center for Cultural Entrepreneurship, he also helps fund a struggling Santa Fe school district, helps fund artistic endeavors in northern New Mexico (and worldwide), and works at creating more tourism and market opportunities for farmers and artists, particularly Native Americans, in what he calls the Northern New Mexico creative corridor.
