While fishing near Miami with my friend Kai, some pelicans chased our boat hoping that we could spare them a scrumptuous fish. In the end, I gave them one.

    That's awesome that you could do that.

    Not that you were willing to spare a whole fish, although that is quite awesome of you, but the fact that the pelican could fly so it was hovering mere centimeters away, and you could gently throw a fish right into it's mouth.

    I usually throw bread on the back of the ferry from England to France, some of the seagull are a complete daredevil, one of the narrowly managed to catch the food millimetre from the water! they could've drown, quite greedy they are

    The pelicans like to hang around the fish markets in Sydney, and attack [vulnerable] people who just bought a fresh fillet of salmon.

    I like to poke them on the head - but that's just me.
