This video installation was built in the basement of a house where the sound of the heartbeat could be faintly heard and felt throughout the structure. Four white plastic sheets enclosed a small metal chair that sat opposite a video projection of eyes, which were synced with the sound of a heartbeat. As the heart beat faster, the eyes would move downward culminating to the fastest beat where the eyes settled on the viewer sitting in the chair. This installation focuses on the anxiety created by personal and societal judgment.
