"We think about food all the time, but not very often as an artistic medium that holds the stories of our relationships to places, our individual and collective pasts, and our capacity to nurture and consume. Thorough a complement of sensory, collaborative experiences held in several locations, artists involved with the Food for Thought project will perform a series of interactive events—gathering, planting, cooking, tasting, storytelling--that will result in the creation of a social architecture that relates the body to place and social space."
This video documents the Food For Thought exhibition that was part of the Garage biennale in 2007. garagebiennale.com/
