Code Grey was the first game that I helped create and can be described as a traditional platformer with paint mechanics. I worked with Jixuan Wang, Aimei Kutt, and Peter Gibson to write it for a software engineering class (CS 32) at Brown. We worked on this project over the course of about a month. It uses the Lightweight Java Game Library to access the OpenGL libraries, uses the Slick Library for texture loading and management, and JBox2D for the physics engine. Features include paintable scenery, particle effects, parallax, shaders, and enemy AI.
