are they compatible?
Interesting project!
Beautiful, isn't it?
Thank you very much!
Stephen Murphy's lighting looks like it is going to be fantastic. A truly talented guy.
By the way this "behind the scenes" is lovely shot by Ed and the music of "Solaris" gives a climax.
Goodluck to the crew
Behind scenes by digital cam? It seems film look.
Beautiful.
It is impossible I don't write down some comments here.
Well done, you have a great team working with you. All the best for the final production :)
My finger's currently hovering over the 'buy now' button on a 5D MkII... There'll be hell to pay with the wife!
Just tell her you slipped, fell, and "accidentally" landed on the "buy now" button and that they have a "terrible" return policy.
Kind Regards Sarkey One
thank you for sharing.
what lens do you use for this video?
Fantastic look. Mk2 fuck with what's going to give him.
Thanks for sharing.
Just out of curiosity, I seem to recognize that apartment in Vauxall, was there a grand piano by any chance? And did you have a view on Battersea power station?
Excited just from listening to interviews from all different perspectives: directing, producing, videographing, and sound!! Very insightful and inspiring!
The picture in this video itself is beautiful too.
The shots and edit too.
One question thou - the sound.
Did you used a separate recorder
or on the 5D Mk2 ?
Best
Igor
I'm only 2 years into my videography career so forgive me if I seem naive...
But an interesting question, based on your experience which would you rather have, sony EX3 or Canon 5D MK2? (with a total disregard for audio)
As a newbie filmmaker with no formal training, I am very grateful for any behind the scenes information as part of my learning process. I found this both compelling and informative. I'm impressed by how your DP describes how he sets up the shots as close to the envisioned production values as possible, minimizing time spent in post-prod. Lighting these scenes certainly was challenging but it sounds like you have an amazing gaffer who really knows his stuff. Thanks for sharing this!
This gives me new faith in my Zoom H4n.
