- Netbook (Aspire One) running Mandriva 2009
- gphoto 2.4.3 - command line:
gphoto2 --set-config capture=on --capture-image-and-download -I 3

    Nice! are you doing the pans and zooms manually? what kind of mount are you using?

    The nice thing about using an SLR is that you can take an enormous image, much bigger than the display resolution. I'm simply just panning and zooming inside the frame.

    I am working on trying to construct a mechanical doodad that will pan the camera very slowly over time - however, it's a fairly difficult problem to solve :(
