Ahmad Ikhlas is a Jamaican convert to Islam who has used his heritage and love for the Prophet (pbuh) to generate an expressive unique style of music.
Raised in south London, 2nd generation of Jamaican heritage; his conversion to Islam in the mid 90's and wanted for Caribbean people and those of similar background to relate understand nasheeds.
Influenced by conscious reggae artist such as Bob Marley, Capleton, Sizzla Buju Banton this unique style of poetry and salawat is born.
Expressing love for Allah and His Messenger in Jamaica patios or creole dialect for a new genre in nasheeds.
