It’s been an extraordinary year for the students of Seffo Maialekti Community School in Ethiopia. In the school you transformed from a vulnerable twig and stone structure to a fully equipped learning facility, emotions were mixed on final exam day.

There were sighs of relief that the big test was over, but students were already missing the place they had come to equate with having fun, seeing friends and most of all, learning.

The singing in the background is by 8-year-old Liyah Luel and with the rest of her class clapping along.
