I wrote this two days ago, after staying up all night listening to 1930s folk recordings, at about 6AM. It's my attempt at creating a "traditional" folk song. I'm sorry for the overly country-ish vocals, I haven't been able to get the twang out of my system just yet. In my defense, I do it in just about every song on days like today when I'm not singing well.
