My friend Deric and I took our bikes from LA up to Lake Isabelle just south of Kernville, CA. His girlfriend Nanushka joined us for the ride. We left LA around 5:30am. As soon as we dropped into the desert, temps dipped to around 26f! Fingers and toes were nippy but we pushed on and the afternoon temps of 58f warmed us up nicely. Beautiful weather up there. Unfortunately the GoPro died once we got there so I wasn't able to shoot our ride back through the BEAUTIFUL twisties of Calienta Bodfish Road, I'm considering a repeat ride up there just to shoot that road, one of the most incredible I've ever ridden.
