A look back on BLOCK T and Dublin Flea's Biggest Christmas Flea Market in Smithfield Square 2012.
The Christmas Cracker Market Included over 120 stalls of bric-a-brac, clothes, vintage, retro, vinyl, furniture and hidden gems with added Christmas cheer in the form of clever crafts, creative thinking and affordable art. The SCOOP Foundation and Amnesty International Ireland were also present spreading some goodwill.
The main focus of The Dublin Flea and BLOCK T's Christmas Markets is on inspiring and innovative small, local, Irish businesses and individuals, making it the most interesting and enjoyable place to shop for Christmas. Brilliant bargains and stocking fillers for adults and kids are in abundance so you will definitely not leave empty handed. Whatever it is you are looking for, even if you are not sure what that is, you will find it there.
Delicious food, cracking coffee, music and Christmas cheer is also served, so if you need a break from your shopping spree there will be space to sit down and soak it all up.
The Dublin Flea & BLOCK T Christmas Cracker is about supporting local artists, producers and small businesses and giving Dublin a truly amazing Christmas Market in a wonderful underutilised space in the city.
Many thanks to all involved and a special thank you to Peter Cooney and Mark Donohoe for putting this video together.
