On June 15th 2012, the three founding fathers of A Family Affair departed Land's End.
The last thing they did before they clicked into their pedals was to press 'record' on their handlebar-mounted Go Pro camera. Over the next thirteen days, every ten seconds of the journey would be recorded as a single frame. Now, woven together by the mightily clever Alex Hinx, we are proud to present 'The Journey'. This film is what we saw; it features friends, family, vast landscapes and back alleyways, duel carriageways and country lanes. It takes us inside and out, along the spine of the British Isles and finally to its most northerly point. There are days so hot that the lens steams up. There are days so wet that the landscape becomes an indistinguishable grey blur. The camera records the passing of time, and our growth from three uncertain adventurers to true journeymen.
