WAH (We Are Here) aims to introduce contemporary design that is telling stories of different designers and how they research in their direct environment. Rather then focusing only on function and shapes, WAH's projects start from a narrative connotation, taking in consideration the “storytelling” of specific people and places. 'Learn to Unlearn' invites the user to re-experience the original concept of functionality in design objects. For example, a precarious two-legged stool encourages to rethink the act of sitting. Thus ambiguous objects aims to overthrow the unconscious learned behaviour governing our perception.

Accordingly, the Design Store was initiated in Italy during the Schio Design Festival 2012 by graduates from the Design Academy Eindhvoven. In this peculiar context, WAH initiated a dialogue between local associations and designers using the significance of the industrial and natural heritage as a locus of culture and innovation. WAH's activities have included exhibitions (Fabbrica Saccardo) and performative events (Time to Play).
