Denne samtale med billedkunstneren Peter Bonnén om anekdoter er en del af ”Eliten i Minefeltet” – en række samtaler under Copenhagen Art Festival 2012 med personer, der begik sig på værtshusene mellem Strøget og Gammel Strand i 1940-60’erne (= Minefeltet). Dette var steder hvor kunstneriske fællesskaber blev skabt.

Peter Bonnén fortæller om sit eget værtshusliv hvor han mødte kernen af den danske kunstverden. Han fortæller om ”mælkebøtten i den danske kunstflora” Svend Aage Tauscher, om sin mentor Bamse Kragh-Jacobsen, om Vingården, om Galleri Købke, om at være til kunstperformance af Niki de Sankt Phalle og om mange andre sjove små historier fra hans tid.

This conversation with the artist Peter Bonnén was a part of ”Eliten i Minefeltet” – a series of conversations during the Copenhagen Art Festival with people who used to visit the taverns in central Copenhagen between Strøget and Gammel Strand in the1940-60’s. These were places where artistic communities were created.

Peter Bonnén speaks of his visits at the taverns where he met with the core of the Danish artworld. He talks about “the Danish artfield’s dandelion” Svend Aage Taucher, of his mentor Bamse Kragh-Jacobsen, about Vingården, about Gallery Købke, about witnessing the art performance by Niki de Sankt Phalle, and many others fun little stories of his time.
