Sunny day, two fun skiers and a Sony FS100 with a Nikon lens. Tried out an afternoon of "Lens whacking", a technique where the lens is not attached to the camera. Using different gaps between the lens and the camera body, you are able to allow light to hit the sensor creating natural lens flares.

While editing this piece, I felt like I was finally one with the camera. There wasn't a digital feel, but almost like a dream. I will most definitely be practicing this effect more and more and can't wait to use it with weddings this coming year.
