    Hi.
Thanks for all the encouragement. I certainly was not expecting such an amazingly huge (and FAST) response.

I added info up top to address the frequent questions about tracking. Pixel Farm's software is quite impressive, and can get some great results without much sweat. There was still trial and error to get some shots working, even tracking it in several pieces and joining the moves after. I'm still new to that sort of tracking software though.

I'll certainly consider making some materials to explain things a little.

I'm trying hard to guess how you did some of those effects... that's so interesting, you really pushed particular 2 so far...
Some of the emitters you made are kind of easy, some others aren't at all... really well thinked! :)
I kind of guessed for example, that the LED light one is made by emitting particles fast or on a grid, then stopping the phisic time factor, so that they stay in place... but I'm not sure...
I'm amazed by the sperm-like ones... I tried to recreate it but I just got near by creating a composition used with the sprite function, that simulate the extrusion but in the end I couldn't make the movement of the tail...
Not even the glass one is so easy...
Great -GREAT- use of particular in all its features!
    KUDOS!
  • Najork plus 2 years ago
Yeah, that's an array. I have a motion path making it tube-shaped, and then messed with the rotation.
With the sperm-like ones, the tail is Aux particles. I have a slight turbulence on position, but I am using a control to amp it way up for the aux particles so they flail like that.
