"Civil Society Denmark" explores the following notions of House, Family, Community, Religion and Social Work under the scope of Civil Society in Denmark.
The documentary discusses fundamental human rights throughout the narrations of various individuals whom are residing in Denmark.Especially; the right to have cultural spaces for creativity, the right to immigrate and seek refuge, the right to form communities within the cosmopolit crowded urban city of Copenhagen, the right for the freedom and expression of religion as a minority and the right to seek human rights as social workers, are being brought into attention. All as deliberate issues and themes which forms civil societies, themselves.
The documentary has been filmed during a Human Rights Summer Fellowship program hosted by Humanity in Action Copenhagen, in June 2012.
