Testing Nick Driftwood's 'Low Rider v1' patch, thanks to Vitaliy Kiselev's PTool v3.66d applied to the GH2. White balance and exposure adjustment applied as a quick one pass to the footage.
The MIR-1 37mm lens was already known to be too wide for use in conjunction with the ISCO anamorphic lens attached. I was testing the MIR-1 to see actual coverage and image quality. In February, I intend to test for image quality and sharpness: SMC Takumar 55mm f1.8, Rokkor-PF 55mm f1.7, Rokkor 45mm f2.0 and a Zuiko 50mm f1.8.
For this footage, I changed the GH2 sharpness from -2 to 0. I can not say if this has made the footage appear to look sharper, or worked against me. Future recordings will be with sharpness set back to -2, and I may explore sharpening options in post.
