In summer 2012, IOTA, in collaboration with the University of Aberdeen’s School of Biological Sciences curated and managed a residency of two artists in The Lighthouse Field Station, Cromarty.
The artists, Stephen Hurrel and Mark Lyken explored how sound and light within the physical spaces we inhabit [natural and man made] affects behaviour patterns.
In autumn 2012, they launched their week-long exhibition with samples from both artists’ works together with video material that has been sourced from the Lighthouse Field Station’s researchers.
The film is a collage of the visual landscape of Cromarty, with the observations of the artists and engagement by the public.
