"Hands off my popcorn, Clarke!"

In 2012, Upbeat Productions decided to branch out from purely online into the world of traditional broadcast television. The wheels to make a pilot for a weekly film show were set in motion, constrained by a tight deadline so that the finished article could be showcased at MIPCOM, the annual TV market in Cannes.

On this production I wore many hats: writing the script, designing & animating the opening titles & motion graphics around the existing Filmbeat logo & colour scheme, directing the day's shoot with the presenter and editing the final product. Some of my location and studio camerawork makes it in there too.
