A dedication to Thomas Alva Edison, featuring the voices of Katharina Biehler, Richard Chartier, Joshua Kit Clayton, Tim Hecker, Terre Thaemlitz and myself reading ‘Mary had a little lamb’, played with Akira Rabelais' Argeiphontes Lyre and cut on a 78RPM acetate.

The disc is a fragment from an unfinished oratorio on the history of recorded music, to be performed by an ensemble of mechanical-acoustic period devices. The acetate was cut in 2007 and is played back on an early 1930s HMV model 102 portable gramophone.
