It's very simple. You can clear a loop out and record in the same time space if that's what you mean by insert.

You can also use multiple loops as you see, so you can work around the multiply issue by recording your longer part to another unit. Multiply would be nice though...
There is an undo function and I can't quite figure out how far back it goes, seems to be buggy, or a buffer issue.
