NYC DOT Installing Belgian Block at 162nd St TIMELAPSE
5 months ago
This was a 4 hour long time lapse of the workers for the DOT, installing some Belgian block (really big heavy granite cobble stones, but bigger).
The stones are close to 300 years old apparently, and the street itself tops out around 150 or so. These streets last close to 50 years before needing any major re-stoning according to the guys.
the time lapse was shot on an EX1 Sony with SDHC cards and a hoodman MxM adapter at 8frames a second for 4 hours.
