Hatchee is a tool that connects students with invisible data from their environment to help them understand abstract concepts in introductory science.

It collects information about four elements from the student’s environment - light, color, humidity, and sound - and represents them graphically through a computer or tablet device. Through a combination of tangible and graphical tools, Hatchee explains how the invisible properties of these elements respond to immediate changes in the environment, allowing students to build personal references when learning abstract scientific concepts. Hatchee is designed to complement class and individual experiments that follow the steps of the Scientific Method to help answer questions and hypotheses about real world scenarios.
