Wella’s Hairdressers at Heart initiative features programs and opportunities that support the stylist at four
critical stages of his/her career: (1) scholarships help basic school students defray some of their tuition
costs while grants for licensed hairdressers help them continue their education; (2) talent development
programs such as competitions, mentorship and awards help newly licensed hairdressers hone their
creativity; (3) childcare tuition discounts demonstrate understanding and support for the importance of
work-life balance; and (4) community involvement charity grants allow salon owners to support their own
